Bell & Dorje
Bell & Dorje was handmade by Tibetans in Nepal. It is used for special rituals. It is believed that bell is used to call the presence of Buddha and idol by singing harmonically at specialized tone. Traditionally the dorje is held in the right hand and it signify the male foundation and clear meaning of reality. The bells signify the female principle and held in the left hand as representation of deep knowledge. They are normally used together, with one in each hand. This bell and dorje are the main equipment which is used in Vajrayana Buddhism. The sound of a singing bell can be used as a meditation.
